  17. <p>     What's the hardest way to kill yourself? Three bullets to
  18. the head certainly ranks. According to Moscow police sources,
  19. that was the actual cause of death for coup conspirator BORIS
  20. PUGO, the Soviet Interior Minister who was officially described
  21. as having "committed suicide" when the August putsch fizzled.
  22. As for two other top Communist officials reported to have
  23. killed themselves by leaping from windows, sources say they
  24. probably were pushed in order to silence them. They apparently
  25. knew too much about the smuggling of Communist wealth out of the
  26. country as the party collapsed.
